Today we head to historical downtown of Crossville to get to know The Yarn Patch!

Comfortable and friendly, The Yarn Patch features a wide selection of yarn, from luxury fiber to value brands. We also have books, patterns, needles, notions and accessories, as well as equipment. Our knowledgeable staff is available to help you achieve your fiber crafting goals. We are especially proud to carry many Tennessee hand-dyed yarns and regionally-sourced roving.
Over the course of the Tour, Tourists will have the opportunity to buy exclusive mini-skeins of yarn at each shop, that has been spun/dyed/created/procured just for the Yarn Tour. At The Yarn Patch, Heather is creating mini-skeins herself, using her own hand-dyed Cumberland Fiber Works yarn! The Yarn Patch will also be holding daily door prize drawings for Yarn Tour participants only. This means you must have your Yarn Tour Ticket to be able to win! Last but not least, The Yarn Patch will be hosting a Cascade Fashion Show during the Yarn Tour.

During the Yarn Tour, the Yarn Patch will be open the following hours:

If you have not visited the Yarn Patch in recent years, you are in for a treat! In 2021, they moved to their current location in downtown Crossville. We love the high ceilings and exposed brick of their new location - it creates such a vibrant atmosphere! The shop is right across the street from Grinder House Coffee Shop, so you can grab a coffee or snack to keep you fueled on the tour.
Getting There
The Yarn Patch is located at 68 North Main Street, Crossville, TN 38555.
From the West, take I-40 East towards Knoxville. Take Exit 317 to Crossville. Head south on Main Street (Hwy. 127). Travel 3.4 miles, and you'll see The Yarn Patch on the left, next to French's Boots
From the East, take I-40 West towards Nashville. Take exit 322 for TN-101/Peavine Rd toward Crossville and make a left on Peavine Road. After 0.4 miles, make a right on US-70 and go west for 2.4 miles. Then make a right onto South Main Street and head north; The Yarn Patch will be on the right side.
