Today we're visiting the second Alpaca farm on the Tour: Appalachian Yarn Company, located in New Market, TN.

Appalachian Yarn Company is located on our beautiful alpaca farm in New Market, Tennessee. During your trip to visit the shop, you will get the opportunity to meet our alpacas while enjoying the pretty scenery.
Appalachian Yarn Company specializes in natural fiber yarns with a focus on locally sourced and U.S. processed fibers. In addition to the many name brands we carry, we also offer our homegrown yarns and fiber from our own alpacas residing at Stewart Heritage Farm. You will find beautiful hand-dyed yarns; rovings and batts for spinning or felting; an array of hand-knit, crochet, and woven clothing and home accessories; and a variety of mill-made alpaca wear.
In addition to having the opportunity to buy the special alpaca blend designed & produced exclusively for this year’s Yarn Tourists, you will have the chance to win a gift basket of items from the shop. Many other specials will be offered throughout the yarn tour!

From I-75 going south toward Knoxville, take Exit 3, I-640 toward Asheville. Merge onto I-40 from the left lane. *Take exit 417, Hwy 92, US 70E, US 25W. Turn left at the top of the exit toward Jefferson City. Go 3 miles and turn left on McGuire Road. Go one mile. Appalachian Yarn Company at Stewart Heritage Farm is on the left.
